There are plenty of rumours about Newcastle United having to sell their best players in the future, but it does not sound like they want to leave.
There has been relentless speculation about Bruno Guimaraes leaving the club, with Newcastle potentially needing to cash in on one of their major stars to allow them to reinvest again.
PSG have been linked, although it has been claimed that Bruno is happy at St James’ Park right now and does not want to leave.
And it sounds like the same goes for Alexander Isak, who is another megastar that Toon officials could sell for a huge amount of money. He is the club’s most expensive signing ever, and is already one of the Premier League’s elite forwards.
The 24-year-old has even been mentioned as a target for Arsenal, but his latest comments suggest that he has no immediate intentions of leaving Tyneside.
Alexander Isak is very happy at Newcastle United
Isak has been speaking to Sky Sports, where he discussed what it is like to play at St James’ Park before moving on to how much he loves being a Newcastle United player.
“It’s very special,” he said.
“It gives that extra energy to play and it makes it more fun as well. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed playing home games as I do here.
Isak was then asked if this is the happiest he has been playing football.
“Yeah probably, at the moment. Since I came it’s been going really good, for me personally and for the team. It’s nothing to complain about.”

Newcastle need to keep Isak happy for as long as possible
Isak says he is happy at Newcastle, and it is clear to see that in his performances. He is playing particularly well right now, boasting five goals in his last four games.
His latest came against Manchester City, on a night where he really impressed Eddie Howe. The Toon boss was very happy with Isak’s performance, and he is someone who the club simply have to keep.
The Sweden international is an elite talent – someone who is constantly being compared to one of the best ever in Thierry Henry.
Isak is someone who the team should be built around. Cashing in on him would be a massive mistake, as it would be incredibly difficult to replace him.
Right now, he is happy and enjoying his football on Tyneside. Hopefully that remains the case for a very long time.
