Newcastle United fans have been left in a state of worry due to Bruno Guimaraes’ release clause, but they can at least forget about those concerns for now.
The 26-year-old signed a new contract at St James’ Park last year, with the deal including a release clause worth more than £100million.
It is going to take a mega fee to tempt Bruno Guimaraes away from Newcastle United, but he is certainly worth it. Given how well he is playing, it would be no surprise to see one of the biggest clubs in the world swoop in an activate his exit clause.
There have been concerns about that happening in January, with Paris Saint-Germain showing an interest in the Brazilian midfielder.
But Eddie Howe has played down speculation of Bruno heading to PSG, and now a new report from iNews shares how the man himself feels about potentially leaving the Magpies during the ongoing January transfer window.

Bruno Guimaraes wants to stay at Newcastle United
According to iNews, Bruno Guimaraes has no interest in leaving Newcastle United this month and is settled at the club.
They add that the Magpies will reject any offers they receive for the Brazil international, with iNews believing that PSG’s interest in Bruno is genuine.
That is no surprise, as they saw firsthand just how good he is during the Champions League this season. Bruno was one of Newcastle’s best players during the win at St James’ Park, while he was also spectacular in the draw in France.
They have been linked with Bruno before, and it has been claimed that they regret not signing him when they had the chance. It is not like he was an unknown quantity – he was playing against them in Ligue 1 for Lyon.
But now he is a Newcastle United player, and a very happy one. He has been the Magpies’ best player so far this season, and continued his rich vein of form during the 3-0 derby win over Sunderland.
He further solidified his status as a modern day Toon legend at the Stadium Of Light, balancing Brazilian flair with Geordie passion to produce a blistering display.
Newcastle need him firing on all cylinders for the second half of the season, and it is very encouraging to hear that he has no intention of leaving despite interest from PSG and a release clause hanging over his head.
