Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush is one of several forwards on Newcastle United’s transfer radar.
The 25-year-old has been in incredible form in the Bundesliga and is attracting interest from across Europe.
Omar Marmoush, who plays as a centre-forward for Frankfurt, has scored 18 goals and made 12 assists in just 24 total appearances this season.
Newcastle are in the market for a striker as they look to find a long-term replacement for Callum Wilson, who continues to be linked with an exit in 2025.
William Osula was signed in the summer but is seen as more of a long-term prospect at St James’ Park.

How much it would cost Newcastle to sign Omar Marmoush
Doing deals in January is always difficult, especially as teams do not want to lose star players midway through a season.
However, Frankfurt have left the door open for clubs to bid for Marmoush with an asking price now revealed.
According to Caught Offside, Frankfurt are open to parting ways with Marmoush for a €65m (£54m) fee.
Sporting director Paul Mitchell has £70m to spend in January, but any major incomings will need to be answered with sales to avoid a PSR breach come the summer.
Newcastle will also have to fight off competition from the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea if they want to secure Marmoush’s signature this month.
Newcastle’s long-term interest in Omar Marmoush
One thing going in Newcastle’s favour is that the Magpies have been long-term admirers of Marmoush, with interest dating back to before his spectacular 2024/25 campaign.
Newcastle monitored Marmoush in February 2024 as a potential replacement for Wilson. The club decided not to make a move in the summer but could now act on their interest.
After the summer window slammed shut, Newcastle ramped up interest in Marmoush in October after his strong start to the current season.
Marmoush addressed transfer rumours this week and insisted he was not thinking about a transfer, but Frankfurt will be braced for bids this month and may be tempted to cash in on him if the right offer arrives.
