Tino Livramento has been outstanding for Newcastle United at right-back this season.
There were plenty of groans around St James’ Park this summer after Kieran Trippier requested to leave.
However, Tino Livramento has calmed any concerns about Trippier leaving by stepping up and shining at right-back this season.
Alan Shearer believes Livramento is ready to replace Trippier full-time after his impressive run of form as a starter for Eddie Howe this season.
Howe has been full of praise for Livramento, especially after his “outstanding” performance against former side Chelsea.
However, the 21-year-old missed out on a call-up to Lee Carsley’s England squad for the November internationals.

Tino Livramento left out of November England squad
Newcastle fans were split over the England squad, with supporters delighted for Lewis Hall after he received his first call-up but gutted that Livramento and Nick Pope both missed out.
Anthony Gordon was the only other Newcastle star named in the Three Lions squad alongside Hall.
Livramento received a late England call-up in October. He was initially left out of the squad but was drafted in after three injury withdrawals.
Despite joining up with the senior England squad last month, Livramento remains uncapped after being an unused substitute in all four of the Nations League fixtures so far.
It seemed unfair that Livramento was left out despite not being given an opportunity to play, but he could once again find himself receiving a late call-up.
History could repeat for Tino Livramento
In October, Livramento was called up to the England squad after Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo, Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa and Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White all dropped out.
Carsley named his 26-man England squad last week and the only natural right-backs in the squad are Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Manchester City’s Kyle Walker.

However, Alexander-Arnold was forced off the pitch half an hour into Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday evening.
The extent of Alexander-Arnold’s injury is yet to be revealed, but it could well force him to withdraw from the England squad.
If that is the case, it opens up a spot for Livramento to join up with the Three Lions once again.
