Newcastle United have long been interested in signing Marc Guehi.
Guehi is on Newcastle United’s radar once again, with the club looking to strike quickly in this summer’s transfer window.
Eddie Howe wants urgent transfer action at Newcastle this summer, with the club confident they can start spending again.
Indeed, Newcastle are confident they have no PSR issues heading into the transfer window, which will be music to the ears of supporters no doubt. Newcastle want to sign Guehi this summer, having failed to agree a deal with Crystal Palace last year.
Real Madrid have also been linked with Guehi and the likes of Chelsea have previously been credited with an interest.
However, it seems there is genuine confidence about a potential move to St James’ Park.

Agents expect Newcastle United to sign Marc Guehi
Sources with inside knowledge of the situation have told Geordie Boot Boys that agents close to the deal believe Guehi will end up at Newcastle despite the interest from elsewhere.
Howe is keen to bring the 24-year-old to the club at long last and senior figures at Crystal Palace are reportedly expecting Guehi to be sold.
He will be out of contract in the summer of 2026, so the south London club do not have long to sell if they want to get something approaching his actual market value, unless Guehi signs a new deal before then.
How many signings Newcastle United want to make this summer
It promises to be a big summer for the club.
Newcastle’s transfer budget could be £150million this summer, with the club clearly needing to bolster their squad for the Champions League campaign to come.
Howe wants at least four signings at Newcastle, including a central defender, a right-winger, a striker and a goalkeeper.
Landing Guehi as the defensive target would be a statement of intent.
A leading England international and clearly a player Howe rates highly given the extent to which the club have gone to try and sign him, finally landing Guehi would prove Newcastle are back in business on the transfer front.
