Newcastle United are long-term admirers of Tyler Dibling.
The Magpies wanted him in the summer of 2022, when he was just 16-years-old. Dan Ashworth tried to sign Dibling, only to miss out.
Now the 19-year-old is a man in demand once again, having stood out in an appalling Southampton team that will be playing Championship football next season.
As for Tyler Dibling, he looks certain to remain in the Premier League. Clubs are queuing up to sign him, with Tottenham favourites to land Dibling.
Newcastle United’s Tyler Dibling stance
Newcastle want Dibling too, having scouted him regularly.
However, the Magpies’ desire to bring the attacker to St James’ Park may have diminished.

That is according to TEAMtalk, who report that Newcastle’s interest in Dibling is not quite as strong as it once was.
While they still admire the talented teenager, bringing him to St James’ Park may no longer be a priority.
TEAMtalk add that Tottenham Hotspur are optimistic about winning the race to sign Dibling.
Southampton had valued Dibling at £100million, but Spurs reportedly believe they can get him for half of that amount.
The other wingers Newcastle United are targeting
It is vital that Newcastle United sign a right winger this summer.
Despite Jacob Murphy’s incredible form, Eddie Howe needs another option on that side of the pitch. Miguel Almiron must be replaced, while Murphy’s run is not going to last forever.
Despite the update on Newcastle’s interest in Dibling, there are various other attackers that are on the Magpies’ radar.
Antoine Semenyo is a Newcastle target. He has been exceptional for Bournemouth this season, resulting in various teams eyeing the 25-year-old. However, he will not be cheap, with Semenyo valued at £70million.
After looking at him in January, Newcastle like Johan Bakayoko too. He would be a cheaper option, but the lack of Premier League experience could be seen as a risk.
Finally, Newcastle are linked with Bryan Mbeumo. He has been one of the Premier League’s leading attackers this season, scoring 18 goals for Brentford. Signing him from the Bees would be a major statement of intent.
