Signing Antoine Semenyo will not be cheap for Newcastle United.
The Magpies’ search for a winger could lead them to the Vitality Stadium, with Antoine Semenyo on Newcastle United’s radar.
He is one of multiple Bournemouth players that Toon officials are looking at. Justin Kluivert is a Newcastle target, while Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi have also been linked.
However, it is Semenyo who could cost Newcastle United the most money.

Bournemouth set Antoine Semenyo asking price
Newcastle United do not have a limitless transfer budget, and they will have to commit a lot of it towards Semenyo if they decide they are going to sign the 25-year-old.
According to the i Paper, Bournemouth’s asking price for Semenyo is £70million.
That fee would make him Newcastle’s most expensive signing ever. The current record belongs to Alexander Isak, who cost £63million in August 2022.
Semenyo valuation will surely put Newcastle United off
Given the fact it will take a club record fee to sign Semenyo from Bournemouth, Newcastle United will surely take their business elsewhere.
He is going to be a man in demand, with Tottenham interested in Semenyo too.
As suitors line up, Bournemouth will want a bidding war to ensure they get the highest fee possible. That is something that the Magpies will not want to get embroiled in.
While Semenyo is a talented winger who can operate on both flanks, spending £70million on him would be a mistake by Newcastle.
There is better value elsewhere, with Toon target Francisco Trincao valued at £30million.
Former Sunderland players to represent Newcastle United
If Newcastle do end up signing Semenyo, they will be signing a player who represented the Magpies’ biggest rivals.
He previously played for Sunderland, with Semenyo spending six months on Wearside when the Black Cats were in League One.

The attacker made just seven appearances for Sunderland, having arrived on loan from Bristol City. It was an incredibly forgettable loan spell, and Sunderland fans are shocked to see the player that Semenyo has developed into.
From League One struggler to valued at £70million, it has been quite the rise for Semenyo.
Now he is a transfer target for Newcastle United, who are hoping to be in the Champions League next season.
If Semenyo does move to St James’ Park, he will join the list of players who have represented Sunderland before joining Newcastle United. That list includes Shay Given, Barry Venison, Jack Colback, Javi Manquillo, DeAndre Yedlin, Ki Sung-yueng, Paul Bracewell and Michael Bridges.
