Eddie Howe will have learnt a lot about his Newcastle United team during the FA Cup win over Bromley.
The Newcastle United manager heavily rotated his side, and it resulted in a very mixed performance.
While Lewis Miley played extremely well and Will Osula scored his first Newcastle goal, there were other fringe players who failed to deliver.
Harvey Barnes struggled before injury forced him off, while Sean Longstaff endured a difficult afternoon in the Newcastle United midfield.
Miguel Almiron struggled

However, the most disappointing performance came from Miguel Almiron.
The 30-year-old was named in the Toon starting XI for just the fourth time this season, with Miggy deployed on the right of attack.
He was on the pitch for 84 minutes, but failed to have any kind of positive impact on the game. It was a massively frustrating performance from Almiron, who showcased why his minutes have been limited this season.
Almiron was wasteful in possession despite getting into some promising positions, with his insistence on using his left foot killing multiple dangerous attacks.
It is clear why Newcastle want to sell Almiron
It was a disappointing display, and one that sums up why Eddie Howe is willing to sell Almiron this month.
The Paraguay international will be allowed to leave St James’ Park, with clubs in the MLS trying to strike a deal. However, that will not be easy for financial reasons.
Harvey Barnes’ injury may also complicate matters, as Newcastle could be without an attacking option depending on the severity of his muscle problem.
But the £21million man is not the answer, with Almiron’s ineffective performance summing up why his Newcastle United career feels like it is reaching its end.
Trevan Sanusi made his Newcastle United debut
Newcastle United need to move on, and they got a glimpse of the future during the second half against Bromley.
Trevan Sanusi made his professional debut, with the 17-year-old coming on to replace Will Osula. He was deployed on the left wing, before moving to the right when Almiron was withdrawn.
Sanusi is clearly very raw. There were moments in which he showed his inexperience, with the teenager easily muscled out of possession.
But that is not a concern. He showed inexperience because he is inexperienced. But Newcastle clearly have faith in Sanusi, which is why he got the opportunity to make his debut.
