Will Osula has finally scored his first Newcastle United goal.
The 21-year-old scored the third goal in Newcastle United’s 3-1 win over Bromley, as they avoided a scare in the FA Cup third round.
Will Osula put the gloss on what had been an uncomfortable afternoon, with a heavily rotated Magpies side producing a rather underwhelming performance.
But it is a case of job done. Lewis Miley was excellent for Newcastle United, while it was great to see Osula net his first Toon goal.
It has been a tough start to life on Tyneside since his £10million move, with opportunities limited. A lot of questions have been asked about Osula, as Newcastle United supporters ponder whether he really is the real deal.
Perhaps some of those questions were answered with his strike on Sunday afternoon.

Will Osula celebrates his first Newcastle United goal
Eddie Howe was delighted for Osula after the game, and you could see what it meant to the youngster when the ball hit the back of the net.
It was anything but a subdued celebration from Newcastle’s number 18, as he ran off kissing the badge before being mobbed by his teammates.
Osula was thrilled, while you could see that his teammates were delighted for him. The striker is clearly very popular within the group, and you could sense the relief when he fired in his first ever Newcastle United goal – and what a goal it was.
What Bruno Guimaraes did during Osula celebrations
It was a special strike, and Bruno Guimaraes showed his class as captain during the celebrations.
After celebrating as a team, Bruno made sure that Osula took in the moment on his own. He pushed his teammate out in front, ensuring that Osula soaked up the adulation from the Leazes End.
It was great to see from Bruno, who provided the assist with a through ball into space. It is another goal contribution for the Brazilian, but this goal was all about Osula’s solo work.
Incredible team spirit within this Newcastle United group
Bruno’s act towards Osula highlights the team spirit within the group.
It has been a recurring theme under Eddie Howe, with various memorable celebrations and moments of class.
Just the other day after Newcastle’s win over Arsenal, Martin Dubravka was given centre stage amid fears that it could have been his last game.
Last season, Sandro Tonali led a lap of honour ahead of his suspension, while Lewis Miley got the Osula treatment after his first Newcastle United goal during a win over Fulham.
