Everything you need to know about Newcastle United’s Adidas kits for the 2025-26 season.
Things couldn’t be looking much brighter for Newcastle United after a fantastic season that promises more great times to come in 2025-26.
Eddie Howe has done an incredible job at St. James’ Park, guiding the side to a Carabao Cup triumph and on the verge of returning to the Champions League.
Defeat to Arsenal in their penultimate match means Newcastle must beat Everton on the final day to guarantee their spot in Europe’s top competition and it’s nothing less than they deserve.
A Champions League campaign with the prospect of actually challenging for the Premier League title makes next season look thrilling, even if there is a crucial transfer window to come first.
With so many big nights ahead, Newcastle will want to look sharp while doing so in their new kits. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

New Newcastle United home shirt

Newcastle United’s new home shirt for the 2025-26 season was revealed on May 23.
The traditional black and white stripes will this year feature a ‘shepherd’s check’ design, giving the iconic look a new blur effect.
The stripes are only featured on the front of the kit, with the back just plain white, and it also features blue piping around the collar and seams.
‘HOWAY THE LADS’ is printed on the back of the collar.
The kit was released on Thursday, May 29, and can now be purchased from the club’s shop and online store. It costs £85.
Release date: May 29, 2025.
Newcastle away kit 2025-26 season
In a continued nod to their PIF owners, Newcastle will once again wear green in the 2025-26 season.
Newcastle had a green away kit in the 2022-23 season and will do so again this year, after it was officially revealed on July 29.
The shirt is ‘Team Green’ – the same colour as the Saudi Arabia national team kit – with a darker shade of green in arched horizontal stripes going across the shirt to pay tribute to the famous Tyne Bridge.
The club crest, Sela logo and Adidas badge are all in white, to match the white detailing on the collar and three sleeve stripes.
Newcastle United third shirt 2025/26

Newcastle released their new third shirt on July 1 and it’s another kit with a retro flavour as it’s a remake of the iconic 1997-98 third kit.
That stunning original shirt was predominantly a dark navy but featured a striking orange and green stripe down the right side, in which sat the Newcastle Brown Ale sponsor.
The club crest sat within a huge shield.
The crew collar was also green and orange, while the hem of the sleeves was green and the famous three stripes orange.
The new version does not feature the stripe but is in the same colourway and has the crest inside a shield.
Will Newcastle have a new badge on their kits next season?
No. Though Newcastle have announced plans to redesign the club’s crest, it won’t be done in time for next season.
To help avoid a backlash, the club is holding consultations and workshops with fans to agree upon a new design that everyone can live with.
Howe recently gave his thoughts on the announcement and said: “I am a great believer in respecting tradition. But then…you have to try and move forward,” he said.
“If something does need to be changed for the betterment of the club, then I am all for that.
“The great thing, though, that I took from it was the collaboration with the supporters – that has to be there.
“It can’t be done without their consent.”
How to buy new Newcastle kits and the cost
Newcastle will sell their new kits in the club shop and on their online store, while sporting retailers across the country will sell them as well.
A replica shirt at the start of last season cost £80 for an adult, while children’s sizes were priced at £55.
Newcastle shirt sponsor
Saudi Arabian entertainment and hospitality company Sela have been Newcastle’s front-of-shirt sponsor since signing a multi-year deal in 2023.
Sela have ingratiated themselves with supporters by handing out free scarves and putting on surprises in the Carabao Cup celebrations.
Newcastle United kit manufacturer
Due to growing discontent with former providers Castore, Newcastle moved to end their agreement with the company early in 2023 and sign an exciting deal with Adidas.
The German sportswear giants designed countless iconic Newcastle kits between 1995-2010 and made a good start last year with an iconic away kit. They will be making the kits for next season and many years to come.
