Newcastle United have officially unveiled their new kit for the 2025/26 season.

There are no points for guessing that it is black and white, as Adidas launch their second Newcastle United home kit since replacing Castore.

The 2024/25 jersey has enjoyed a historic season. Newcastle United won the Carabao Cup in March, beating Liverpool to end their trophy drought.

Toon officials will hope the new home strip goes on to become just as iconic, with the Magpies hoping to wear it in the Champions League.

Fans will get a first proper glimpse of it on Sunday, with Eddie Howe’s players to wear the new home kit in their final game of the season against Everton at St James’ Park. If Newcastle United win, they will qualify for the Champions League.

The new Newcastle United home kit is slightly different to the leaked version that emerged at the beginning of May.

Newcastle United fans were not impressed with that shirt, but the official one has received a much better reception following its unveiling.

Toon fans have reacted to the new home strip on X (formerly known as Twitter), and are delighted with what Adidas have produced.

One Newcastle United supporter commented: “Best home kit in years. Smashed it!”

“Shut up and take my money,” wrote another fan.

A third fan noted: “Must admit it’s better than this season’s.”

“That is absolutely stunning. Cheers, Adidas,” wrote this member of the Toon Army.

Fans are eager to buy it for themselves, with this Newcastle supporter commenting: “I’m getting this straight away, unreal.”

Finally, a sixth fan cheekily remarked: “Big big fan of that. Look even better when Mbeumo’s wearing it.”

When and where you can buy the new Newcastle United home kit

While the players will don their new shirt on Sunday against Everton, Newcastle United supporters will have to wait a little bit longer to get their hands on it.

The new home kit will be available to buy at 9am on 29th May. It can be bought online through the club’s official online store as well as in person at the club’s official retail stores inside St James’ Park, Metro Centre and Fenwick.

The price of the shirt is currently unknown.

When the 2024/25 home shirt was released, it was initially available for £80. Alternatively, supporters could buy an ‘authentic’ home shirt for £110. That is the same version that the players wear on matchday.
