Paul Mitchell has wasted no time getting multiple Newcastle United deals over the line for 2025.
The mood around Newcastle United was dampened by the underwhelming transfer business done last year, and once again it seems as though the club is under huge pressure to comply with PSR.
Sales are expected this month and Martin Dubravka appeared to wave goodbye to fans at The Emirates ahead of a potential move to Saudi Arabia. He is likely the first of several sales.
With a restricted budget to spend on improving the first-team squad, sporting director Paul Mitchell has continued to look for up-and-coming youngsters who can develop into superstars at St James’ Park.
Kyle Fitzgerald will join Newcastle this month as a winger “prodigy”, while another exciting youngster has already agreed to join in the summer.

Newcastle United agree Vakhtang Salia deal
Back in September, Newcastle agreed a deal to sign Vakhtang Salia from Dinamo Tbilisi.
The transfer was compared to Newcastle signing Garang Kuol, with the Magpies deeming Salia to be a future star with plenty of raw potential.
Newcastle beat several top teams to Salia with Mitchell convincing the 17-year-old forward that Tyneside was the best place for his development.
Despite reports suggesting Salia would arrive in January, the Georgian star is set to join Newcastle in the summer as soon as the transfer window re-opens.
Newcastle plan to loan Salia out after he joins to a top European league where he can continue to grow in confidence and experience.
Vakhtang Salia has caused ‘real excitement’ at Newcastle
Newcastle really believe they have found a gem in Salia.
According to iNews, there is “real excitement” inside the “corridors of power at St James’ Park”. Salia was wanted by plenty of top European teams but Newcastle acted quickly to secure his signature.
Newcastle are in the market for a new right winger and even a new striker – two roles that Salia can play. However, he is not yet ready to be thrown into first-team action and is very much viewed as a star for the future.
