The 17-year-old has become a key player this season due to Newcastle’s injury issues, dazzling supporters with his ability at such a young age. He has also shocked his teammates with his talent, and they are very happy to see him sign a new contract.

Following the news, Miley took to Instagram to deliver a message. Alongside some pictures from the moment that he signed his new contract, Miley wrote: “Proud. A new contract with my boyhood club.”
His post has prompted multiple replies, with various members of Eddie Howe’s team expressing their delight.
Joelinton wrote: “Well deserved my friend.”
Paul Dummett added: “Congratulations. Well deserved.”
And Emil Krafth commented: “Well deserved bro.”
Sky is the limit at Newcastle for Lewis Miley
It really is well deserved, and it is great news for Newcastle United. Miley is the future of our midfield, even if he already has a pretty big role.
His emergence this season has been a joy to watch, and there have been some special moments in black and white. He has got three goal contributions, all of which were incredible.
His first ever goal was the opener in a tight game against Fulham, while his assists against Chelsea and AC Milan were genius.
Miley is a top level midfielder already, and is only going to get better. The opportunities he has been afforded this season have helped him grow as a footballer, and it is clear that the sky is the limit.
