Jason Tindall will aim to move Newcastle United even closer to Champions League qualification against Aston Villa on Saturday evening.
Newcastle United are aiming to win their seventh game in a row, with Jason Tindall set to manage the Magpies once again. Eddie Howe will be absent, as he continues his recovery from pneumonia.
Despite not being able to lean on Howe, Newcastle United have been exceptional in their previous two games. They breezed past Manchester United, before annihilating Crystal Palace.
The trip to Villa Park should be a sterner test, however, and this is Geordie Boot Boys’ predicted Newcastle United XI to face Aston Villa.

Kieran Trippier starts again for Newcastle United
For the seventh game in a row, Kieran Trippier will start for Newcastle United.
Trippier was brilliant against Crystal Palace, as he has been throughout this run in the starting XI.
The 34-year-old has been back to his best, although there may be concerns surrounding the £12million man’s fitness given the volume of football he has had to play in recent weeks.
While Emil Krafth is available in reserve, expect Trippier to start in an unchanged back four against Aston Villa.
No more pressure on Joelinton
Joelinton did not get booked against Crystal Palace, meaning he is no longer at risk of receiving a two-game ban.
The fact he has gone five Premier League games without a yellow card is truly impressive, although Joelinton was not happy about being substituted early during the win over Crystal Palace.
But that was a smart decision by Tindall, as it means the Brazilian powerhouse is free to start alongside usual suspects Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali.
Harvey Barnes aims to continue exceptional form vs Aston Villa
Newcastle United’s forwards are in brilliant form ahead of the trip to Villa Park.
Alexander Isak netted his 25th goal of the season against Crystal Palace, and has six games to potentially hit the 30-goal milestone.
Out wide, Harvey Barnes and Jacob Murphy are on fire. They both scored and got an assist on Wednesday night, and will be eager to continue their exceptional form against Aston Villa.
This will be Barnes’ eighth straight start for the Magpies. During this run in the team, he has scored four goals and provided two assists.
Predicted XI vs Aston Villa: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Barnes.
