Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier has been linked with all manner of moves this summer.
Despite playing a key role for Newcastle both on and off the pitch after joining from Atletico Madrid, the England international has been tipped to leave for months now.
Trippier, after all, reportedly agreed a move to Bayern Munich during the January transfer window and the transfer talk has since continued.
Moves to Saudi Arabia have been touted, while Newcastle are said to have offered his services to AC Milan too.
Closer to home, West Ham were mentioned as a possible landing spot, although they now appear to have moved on.

The Hammers, who have now signed former Newcastle target Jean-Clair Todibo too, look to be closing in on a move for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka instead.
According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg on social media platform X, the east London club have planned a medical for the 26-year-old, having already reached an agreement on personal terms.

Kieran Trippier remains as professional as ever for Newcastle
Perhaps it would be wise to try to cash in on Trippier, who struggled at times last season.
During a period in which Newcastle are struggling to spend, raising funds by selling a player who has shown signs of decline does look reasonably wise, particularly given his age.
Still, if he doesn’t depart, it’s not as if Newcastle will be left with a player kicking up a huge fuss about staying on Tyneside.
Indeed, Eddie Howe has recently spoken about how well Trippier has been training despite all of the links away, underling his professionalism and commitment to the cause.
“He’s been very good in training this week,” he said.
“He has come back with an ambition to play and fight for his place, like every player does in pre-season. I see a player who is fully committed.”
While selling should an offer emerge may make financial sense, keeping Trippier at the club will certainly be no hardship.
