Multiple Newcastle United players are attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.

The transfer market in Saudi Arabia is now very much open, with former Newcastle United transfer target Moussa Diaby set to sign for Al-Ittihad.

That will be a major loss for Aston Villa, while some of the Magpies’ fringe players are also on the radar of clubs in the Middle East.

In fact, one clubs has its eye on two of Eddie Howe’s players.

Al-Qadsiah eye two Newcastle United players

It was recently reported that Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah have got Miguel Almiron on their radar, with the 30-year-old looking likely to leave St James’ Park.

He could also be followed out the door by Kieran Trippier. It has been reported that Trippier is very likely to be sold, with Newcastle now much keener to let him go than they were in January.

And, according to Caught Offside, Trippier is also attracting interest from Al-Qadsiah.

They report that Al-Qadsiah are interested in signing both Trippier and Almiron.

If they were to sign for the Saudi club, they would have some exciting teammates. They have recently brought in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Koen Casteels and 2024 Champions League winning captain Nacho.

Unclear how Newcastle duo feels about Saudi transfer

Now there is a chance that Trippier and Almiron could join them in Khobar, with Al-Qadsiah only recently achieving promotion to the Saudi Pro League.

It remains to be seen if either player will be keen to move to the Middle East, but it does look all but certain that they will be leaving Newcastle United. That is certainly the case with Trippier, who is in the final year of his Toon contract.

As for Almiron, he rejected the chance to move to Saudi Arabia in January, and it is unclear if he will have a change of heart on this occasion.

As it stands, both players are still on holiday after receiving extended breaks following their international commitments.

Trippier and Almiron have been brilliant teammates at Newcastle

Throughout their time together at Newcastle United, Trippier and Almiron have been wonderful teammates.

They have built up a real understanding down the right, with Trippier really helping Almiron take his game to a greater level during the 2022/23 season. Their chemistry was incredible, and it resulted in the Paraguayan enjoying the best season of his career.

But Miggy also helped Tripps, with his incredible work rate and tactical understanding providing the right-back with a layer of protection. They created goals together, and they also kept them out at the other end.

However, it now looks like Newcastle are ready to move on. The Magpies need greater quality on the right of attack, while Tino Livramento is primed to be Howe’s starting right-back.

Time appears to be up for Almiron and Trippier, who could have the chance to continue playing alongside each other even if their Toon careers come to an end this summer.
