Peter Beardsley

Peter Beardsley is a beloved Newcastle United icon. He came through the youth ranks at the club but had to leave to for first-team experience before returning in 1983.
Beardsley departed in 1987 for Liverpool but would return to St. James’ Park for a third playing stint in 1993 and became an integral part of Kevin Keegan’s Entertainers.
He scored 121 goals in 326 games and his long association with Newcastle continued for years as a coach.
