Eddie Howe will continue to rotate his Newcastle United side against Bradford City on Wednesday night.
The Newcastle United manager made seven changes to the team that lost to Barcelona for the trip to Bournemouth, with the likes of Lewis Miley and Lewis Hall receiving their first starts of the season.
Following Newcastle’s draw with Bournemouth, there will likely be even more changes. Howe is keen to utilise his squad, as he attempts to challenge on multiple fronts.
That could result in some Newcastle United academy players getting an opportunity in the Carabao Cup, as the Magpies begin their defence of the trophy they won back in March.
Ahead of Newcastle’s Carabao Cup third round tie against Bradford City, Geordie Boot Boys look at three youth players who could feature on Wednesday night.

Sean Neave
Newcastle United are short of striker options right now. Eddie Howe is trying to be careful with Nick Woltemade’s fitness, while Yoane Wissa is injured.
That should allow Will Osula to start against Bradford, while it could also create an opening for Sean Neave to feature.
Neave is playing well for the Newcastle United Under-21s, but is yet to make his senior debut for the club. However, he has trained regularly with Howe’s squad over the past 12 months.

Park Seung-soo
Newcastle United signed Park Seung-soo during the summer transfer window, and he has already made quite the impression on Tyneside.
Seung-Soo dazzled supporters in pre-season with his dribbling ability, suggesting that the Magpies may have signed something of a gem. That was reinforced even further when he was named on the bench for the Premier League opener against Aston Villa.
The next milestone for the 18-year-old winger will be a senior debut in black and white, but that could be complicated by the sudden availability of Anthony Gordon. His suspension is now over, and he will be keen to reclaim his position on the left of attack.

Alex Murphy
Alex Murphy has senior experience at Newcastle United, and is more than capable of playing for Eddie Howe’s first-team if called upon.
Whether it is at left-back or centre-back, the Irish defender is a solid option for the Magpies against the League One leaders.
With Dan Burn deserving a rest and Lewis Hall still regaining his fitness, there could be a chance for Murphy to make just his third competitive appearance for the Magpies.
