Newcastle United are looking all over for attacking reinforcements, and would be interested in Christian Pulisic if he becomes available.
That’s according to the Athletic, who state that the Magpies would consider a move for the Chelsea winger if the Blues decide to get rid.
The American made a substitute appearance on the opening weekend of the season, coming off the bench with 25 minutes to go against Everton.

However, his future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain. Like many of Thomas Tuchel’s players, Pulisic wants to play more.
And if he decides that he wants to leave Chelsea, the Athletic have suggested that Newcastle could make a move for the 23-year-old.

No bids so far for Pulisic
While Newcastle might have tentative interest in Pulisic, he isn’t going anywhere at the moment. Football London recently claimed that there have been no offers so far for the USA international and that he is set to stay.
Of course, that may change closer to the end of the transfer window. Going into the World Cup, Pulisic will want to be playing as much football as possible.

Unless he hits a rich vein of form, that isn’t going to happen at Chelsea. However, he undoubtedly has the ability to be a starter at St James’ Park for Eddie Howe.
Pulisic is an exciting talent and a wonderful dribbler of the ball. He can play on either flank, which would certainly appeal to the Newcastle manager. The former Dortmund man is reportedly admired by Jurgen Klopp, who believes he is a ‘really skilled‘ player.
Pulisic one of many Chelsea players Newcastle are interested in
The amount of Chelsea players Newcastle have been linked with this summer is incredible. They have a very bloated squad that is full of real talent.

It’s therefore no surprise that the Magpies are keen on a few of their players. Armando Broja, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner, Conor Gallagher, Ross Barkley – they’ve all been mentioned as possible Toon targets.
The Athletic state Newcastle have asked Chelsea and other clubs to be kept in the know about any attacking players they may be willing to move on.
This speaks volumes about the summer Newcastle have had, as they deal with a large group of tentative targets having suffered multiple setbacks.
A move for at least one Chelsea player is surely possible. However, it would be a surprise if it ended up being Pulisic.
