Newcastle United player Bruno Guimaraes is a delight both on and off the pitch.
The 26-year-old is Newcastle United’s most important player, and is a talisman for Eddie Howe. The Toon boss has even described him as world class.
It does not get much better than that for Bruno Guimaraes, who continues to dazzle supporters week after week. It was only on Saturday we witnessed him produce a ridiculous no-look pass that almost led to a goal.
The Brazil international really is a superstar, and he is just as entertaining away from the pitch.
The other day he took to Twitch to comment on Joelinton’s future, expressing his desire to see his friend sign a new contract at St James’ Park.
Now Bruno has delivered a message on X (formerly known as Twitter) after seeing a video that he really liked.
Bruno Guimaraes enjoys video of himself on X
On Tuesday night, Bruno replied to video he saw on X. It was a compilation package of the midfielder’s best moments this season, both for club and country. Unsurprisingly, it was a joy to watch.
And Bruno clearly liked it too, with the Brazilian posting a rather funny message.
In response to the video, he wrote on X: “He is a good player, isn’t he?”

Hopefully more highlights in a Newcastle United shirt
You’re not wrong Bruno! That guy in the video is a good player. In fact, he is the best that Newcastle have got right now.
We are a much worse team without him, which is why this looming two-game ban hanging over his head is so worrying. However, Bruno continues to avoid that elusive 10th booking of the season, and has now gone six Premier League games without a yellow card.
He is fully focussed on avoiding a suspension and guiding the Magpies back into Europe. Howe’s side are currently eighth in the league, but will have confidence that they can finish as high as sixth.
But that will only be possible if Bruno continues to impress, and he will be eager to add more clips to an already impressive highlight reel for this season.
