Newcastle United have been busy this summer.
Indeed, Lewis Hall was in attendance as Eddie Howe’s side lost to Manchester City on Saturday night ahead of signing for the club he supported as a boy.
Hall will follow Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes and Tino Livramento through the door, while young Yankuba Minteh has been brought in for the long-term.
Now, however, it has emerged that the club might have lost out on a potential signing.
Newcastle set to miss out on Benjamin Rollheiser
According to The Sun, Newcastle are keen on a move for Estudiantes attacking midfielder, Benjamin Rollheiser.

The Magpies, along with Burnley and Sheffield United, were said to have been interested in the 23-year-old but a lucrative move to Russia seemingly now awaits.
It is claimed Zenit St Petersburg are close to agreeing a fee to sign Rollheiser who, despite his admiration for the Premier League, may find Zenit’s offer too good to turn down.
Who is Benjamin Rollheiser and what is his style of play?
Described as a “decisive” talent, the attacking midfielder scored 12 goals and registered five assists across 39 appearances during the opening phase of the Argentine season.
At 23, Rollheiser would fit the kind of age profile PIF have generally targeted, too.
Still, with FFP problems looming and with Newcastle having already been busy in more pressing areas, it’s hardly the greatest shame in the world that he now looks set for a move elsewhere.
