Newcastle United ended last week in positive fashion.
Though the win on penalties against Blackburn in the FA Cup was not particularly convincing, Newcastle got back to winning ways in the Premier League too.
A 3-0 win over Wolves at St James’ Park saw Eddie Howe’s rise to eighth in the table and offered fresh hope for a late run to Europa League qualification come the end of the season.
While Kieran Trippier’s injury is a slight concern of course, it did open up the door for Tino Livramento.
The defender has shone since a £32m move from Southampton this summer, though largely while playing somewhat out of position at left-back.
Still, Livramento scored his first goal for the club at right-back against Wolves and was duly hailed by Howe for his cameo.
Indeed, Howe wasn’t the only person to have been impressed.
Tino Livramento: Jamal Musiala very impressed by Newcastle star
After the game, Livramento took to Instagram to celebrate the win, as well as his goal. He captioned a photo of himself in action: “+3 and my first goal in black and white.”
Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala, who played with the defender in the Chelsea academy as well as various England youth age groups, responded with: “Top.”

Tino Livramento: Newcastle’s best summer signing
Last summer’s recruitment drive hasn’t really proven to be a success for Newcastle just yet. Harvey Barnes has endured a frustrating time of things on the injury front, while Lewis Hall continues to be overlooked.
Sandro Tonali, meanwhile, cannot even play until into next season as a result of his worldwide ban from football.
Livramento, however, has already proven excellent value for money. Thrust into first-team action perhaps more regularly than expected, he’s looked at home at this level very quickly.
Still only 21 years of age, the future for both him and the club is very exciting indeed.
