How to watch Yoane Wissa and Nick Woltemade play as 12 Newcastle United internationals in action

Newcastle United have a massive 12 first-teamers away on international duty during the September international break.

The Premier League season has just started coming to life but, as is tradition, the brakes have been put on for the first of three international breaks to end 2025.

It’s not been a great start to the campaign for Newcastle United, who have only been able to pick up two points in three games from goalless draws with Aston Villa and Leeds United.

The slow start is understandable, though, given Eddie Howe’s preparations were thrown into disarray by the wantaway Alexander Isak, who finally got his wish to join Liverpool on deadline day.

With Isak refusing to play, Howe had to use Anthony Gordon and William Osula up front, blunting his side’s attack.

Record signing Nick Woltemade and deadline day arrival Yoane Wissa are in through the door now, though, so things could look a lot different once club competition returns.

Fans can get a glimpse of the new arrivals in action for their countries over the next fortnight, along with 10 other first-teamers who will be in action.

Here’s where you can watch every game.

Newcastle fans could get the chance to see Woltemade in action for the first time since he signed for the club after he was called up to the Germany squad for their 2026 World Cup qualifier double header.

The striker will be hoping to add to his two international caps.

The Africa Cup of Nations is coming up in December, but DR Congo will first compete in two World Cup qualifiers.

Newcastle United having several England representatives is becoming a common occurrence and three players got the call from Thomas Tuchel this time: Tino Livramento, Dan Burn and Anthony Gordon.

With the World Cup looming on the horizon, all three will be aiming to impress the manager and earn a spot on the plane to the USA – should England qualify, of course.

Lewis Hall didn’t make the cut as he’s still working his way back to full fitness.

Anthony Elanga and Emil Krafth will have a frosty reunion with Isak following the striker’s £125m move to Liverpool on deadline day for Sweden’s two fixtures.

Isak could play his first football in months after refusing to play for Newcastle throughout pre-season and at the start of the campaign.

Newcastle’s burly Brazilian, Bruno Guimaraes, will once again be taking the long flight over the Atlantic to represent his nation in a tough-looking set of fixtures in Carlo Ancelotti’s first games in charge.

Brazil play away against Bolivia, a notoriously difficult fixture due to it being played over 13,000 feet above sea level. The game takes place in the early hours of Wednesday morning, so he’ll have a tough task to be ready in time for Saturday’s visit of Wolves to St. James’ Park.

Ancelotti has confirmed that Joelinton has missed out due to injury.
