Garang Kuol is officially a Newcastle United player, and the Magpies are hoping that the teenager develops into a star at St James’ Park.

The 18-year-old appears to have an incredibly bright future, with Newcastle signing him even before he started his first ever competitive game. Since agreeing a move to the Premier League last year, Kuol has made his international debut for Australia, and even went to the World Cup to represent the Socceroos.

2022 was an incredible year for Kuol, and 2023 could be even more exciting. A loan move is on the cards for the forward, with Hearts reportedly interested in signing him.

Whoever does secure his services will have one of the brightest prospects in world football, and someone who ranks high among the elite teenagers that are beginning to emerge in the game.

Four Four Two name Garang Kuol one of the most exciting teenagers around

Four Four Two have released their list of the 50 most exciting teenagers in world football for 2023, and it includes some stellar names.

The list is headlined by Jude Bellingham, who takes top spot. Also featuring in the top 10 is the likes of Jamal Musiala, former Newcastle target Benjamin Sesko and Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott.

And just outside of the top 10 is a Toon player. Kuol is 12th on the list, with Four Four Two describing him as ‘quicksilver when he glides away from defenders and explosive enough to find space away from them’.

He features on the list ahead of the likes of Florian Wirtz and Xavi Simons, who are two of Europe’s brightest midfield talents. That speaks volumes about Kuol’s potential and the buzz surrounding him.

Newcastle have struck gold in signing him, and are interested in landing another player on the list.

At 37 is Angelo Gabriel, the Santos attacker who is described as ‘a menace on the right-wing’. And he is someone who Newcastle have been linked with.

The 18-year-old was linked with a move to St James’ Park throughout the summer, with Steve Nickson reportedly going to Brazil to watch the forward in action.

Rumours surrounding a move to the North East have continued to swirl heading into 2023, when it is expected that he will move to England.

Dan Ashworth has already signed one future superstar in Garang kuol, and he could soon have another if he is able to sign Angelo.
