Report: Neymar-esque wonderkid now expected to make PL move, Newcastle really want to sign him

Santos wonderkid and Newcastle United target Angelo Gabriel is expected to make the move to the Premier League this year.

That’s according to CalcioMercato, who report on AC Milan’s interest in the youngster.

As per the report, the Rossoneri are only willing to offer £13m to sign the 18-year-old, whereas the Brazilian club are demanding closer to £18m.

With the Magpies’ interest in the player, as well as a number of other English teams, it is expected that Gabriel will make the move to the Premier League this year.

The Toon were even keen on landing the teenager last summer, but a deal failed to come to fruition.

When looking at Angelo’s accomplishments, it is clear to see why Newcastle are so keen on landing him at St James’ Park.

At 15-years-old, the forward surpassed Pele by 11 days to become the second-youngest debutant in Santos’ history, behind legendary forward Edu.

Having come from one of the best academies in world football, Angelo’s potential is incredibly exciting.

Therefore, the Toon should continue to do all they can to convince the Brazilian to make the move to Tyneside. Maybe Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton can get the teenager onside, especially with other Premier League clubs eyeing a swoop.
