Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes was involved in a hilarious moment away to Aston Villa earlier this year, and it has now resulted in him receiving a gift.

The 26-year-old helped the Magpies pick up a huge win at Villa Park, with Eddie Howe’s side producing their best performance of the season to beat the Champions League contenders 3-1.

Newcastle United were very impressive that night in January, with Bruno Guimaraes quietly going about his business in the middle of the park.

But Bruno was involved in an incident after the game.

What happened to Bruno Guimaraes after Aston Villa win

As the Brazil international prepared to go down the tunnel, he began speaking to a spectator. They then gave Bruno some bars of Kinder chocolate, after he had expressed his love for them during the recent Newcastle documentary that aired on Amazon Prime last year.

Bruno then gave the fan his shirt in exchange for the chocolate, which seemed like a decent trade!

We later found out from Jason Tindall that Bruno shared his sweet treats with his teammates after the game, and now the midfielder has received more gifts.

Newcastle star receives Kinder gift box

Bruno has taken to his official Instagram account to share a picture of a package he has received from Kinder.

The Toon talisman has received a box full of different goodies from Kinder, one of which even has a personalised packet with his face on.

He is a very lucky boy, and hopefully he will not be filling himself up with chocolate ahead of Newcastle’s FA Cup clash with Manchester City on Saturday evening.

That is a massive game for the Magpies, with a place in the semi finals and a trip to Wembley on the line. If Bruno can help guide Newcastle to the final four of the FA Cup, he can treat himself to all the chocolate he wants.

As the man himself says, it is no longer Kinder Bueno – it’s Kinder Bruno!
