Newcastle United invested big money in Nick Woltemade, and the striker is certainly repaying his transfer fee right now.
You would be hard-pressed to find many Newcastle United fans still talking or even thinking about Alexander Isak at this point.
Isak has long gone, and Newcastle now have a new goalscoring hero.
Nick Woltemade joined Newcastle from Stuttgart in August and has quickly become a fan favourite at St James’ Park.
Sunday’s goal against Nottingham Forest means Woltemade has now scored in his first three home games as a Newcastle player.

Clinton Morrison backs Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade
Woltemade buried his spot kick into the top corner of the net against Forest, waltzing forward with pure confidence to leave Matz Sels with no chance.
The German has been receiving huge praise for his early displays in a Newcastle shirt, with Isak merely a distant memory as Woltemade leads the line.
Pundit Danny Murphy has praised Woltemade for making the right decision every time he gets the ball, and Clinton Morrison has joined in.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Morrison praised Woltemade for the confidence he showed when stepping up from the spot.
Morrison even suggested that Woltemade will prove himself as a real star within the next year.
The former Crystal Palace striker highlighted that some people think Newcastle have overpaid for Woltemade, but he is confident that the price tag will make perfect sense inside 12 months.
“That was a great penalty. He is so confident and at 23 years of age,” said Morrison.
“People say they paid too much for him, but come back to me in a year,” he added.
Nick Woltemade making instant impact after Bundesliga switch
Newcastle showed major faith in Woltemade and trusted him to make the switch from the Bundesliga to the Premier League.
That switch has not been easy for many players, with the likes of Timo Werner and Jadon Sancho struggling in years gone by.
Xavi Simons has only shown flashes at Tottenham Hotspur, Benjamin Sesko is now starting to make an impact for Manchester United, and both Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz have struggled at Liverpool.
The move from Germany to the Premier League is a tricky one, but Woltemade has taken it in his stride and is producing fine displays.
Woltemade may well go through ups and downs as Premier League defenders become accustomed to his style of play, but he is off to a great start – and that is more than some imports can say.
