Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade continued his fine start to life on Tyneside as he scored against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Another game, another goal for Nick Woltemade.
The German striker stepped up from the penalty spot to score Newcastle’s second goal in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
St James’ Park can’t have seen too many more nonchalant penalties, as Woltemade casually strode forward before rifling his penalty into the top corner.
Bruno Guimaraes had already put Newcastle 1-0 up, but Woltemade sealed all three points in a comfortable home victory.

BBC pundit Danny Murphy hails Newcastle United’s Nick Woltemade
Newcastle only signed Woltemade in August, but he is already making a big impact at St James’ Park.
Woltemade has now matched Alan Shearer and Les Ferdinand by scoring in each of his first three home Premier League games at Newcastle.
The former Stuttgart star is earning huge praise at Newcastle, and pundit Danny Murphy has now joined in.
Murphy has told BBC Sport that he thinks Woltemade ‘makes all the right decisions’ when he receives the ball.
Murphy has been blown away by Woltemade’s ability to either play one-touch link-up play or turn into space if he has the chance.
The former Liverpool man loves Woltemade’s positional sense, praising the Newcastle forward for his ability both on and off the ball.
“When I watch him, I see a player who makes all the right decisions,” said Murphy.
“If he needs to play one-touch, he does. If he’s got time and space to turn, he does. He’s got positional intelligence. He’s played 9 today and every time the ball goes in the box he’s where he should be,” he added.
Nick Woltemade message to Newcastle United fans
Woltemade is the toast of Tyneside right now, and he appears to be loving life in the North East.
The giant forward took to Instagram after Sunday’s win and sent a message to Newcastle fans.
‘Good day at the office. Goal and 3 points’ said Woltemade, alongside images of himself scoring and celebrating.
Bruno Guimaraes and Sven Botman both showed their support for Woltemade in the replies, as the striker continues to make a big impact at Newcastle.
