Newcastle United swept Manchester United away at St James’ Park.
Goals from Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes and Bruno Guimaraes gave Newcastle United a 4-1 win over Manchester United.
Newcastle are in control of their own destiny when it comes to qualifying for the Champions League and Sunday’s emphatic victory lifted the Magpies back up to fourth in the Premier League with a game in hand on Nottingham Forest above.
Despite Eddie Howe missing out through illness, Newcastle stuck to their game plan brilliantly and completely overpowered Ruben Amorim’s side.

Man United fans stunned by Tino Livramento display
There were three Newcastle stars on the scoresheet at St James’ Park, with Harvey Barnes scoring a brace in the absence of Anthony Gordon.
However, it was Tino Livramento’s name that was in the mouth of Manchester United fans after his incredible performance at left-back.
Via X, formerly known as Twitter, Manchester United fans couldn’t believe how impressive Newcastle’s 22-year-old was.
“Livramento has outshined Dalot in every way today. Embarrassing” one fan posted.
“Livramento is what I think Dalot is, his attacking attributes is so so good,” another added.
Another Manchester United fan wrote: “Livramento is immense, single-handedly ripping us apart”
One fan posted: “Livramento and Barnes are absolutely cooking Dalot and Maz, two goals have come from that side. Just awful”
Finally, one supporter wrote: “Livramento wipes the floor with Dalot and I don’t even rate him”.

With Lewis Hall out for the season after undergoing surgery, Livramento has been shifted over to the left and has arguably played some of his best football there.
Livramento shut down Mohamed Salah at Wembley and his attacking play against Manchester United was flawlesss.
