Callum Wilson could leave Newcastle United this summer, but there is a chance he remains in the Premier League.
The 32-year-old striker faces an uncertain future, with Callum Wilson’s Newcastle United contract due to expire very soon.
Wilson and Newcastle have held talks over a new contract, but he remains on course to become a free agent at the end of the season.
That would force the forward to change clubs, and Wilson already has visions of where he will continue to play his football should his Newcastle United career come to an end.

Callum Wilson’s Premier League plan as Newcastle United contract winds down
The £20million player grabbed a poacher’s goal on Saturday, as Newcastle beat Birmingham City. It was the type of goal that summed up why Wilson is so valuable when fit.
It is why he could continue to play at the top level, and TalkSPORT report that Wilson wants to remain in the Premier League beyond this season. That is according to ‘sources’ close to Wilson.
That could be with Newcastle, or it could be with someone else. TalkSPORT add that West Ham are keeping an eye on Wilson’s situation, with the Hammers potentially looking to sign a striker this summer.
West Ham wanted to sign Callum Wilson last year
The Hammers are long-term admirers of Wilson. In fact, they were very interested in signing him last year.
Newcastle offered Wilson to clubs for £18million in January 2024, with West Ham one of the teams that were keen to do a deal.
Of course, that exit did not transpire, and Wilson is still at St James’ Park 12 months later.
Now the number nine could finally leave, but it will be on a free transfer. There will be no PSR boost, which is what Newcastle were searching for in January 2024.
West Ham wanted Wilson then, and they want Wilson now. However, he will be £18million cheaper.
