Football pundit Richard Keys has shared a fresh update on Jack Grealish’s transfer saga after reports claimed Newcastle United were interested in signing him.
The Magpies have already publicly delivered their statement of intent for the summer transfer window, with Eddie Howe finally set to be given new players for their Champions League campaign next season.
One of those new players could be Manchester City star Jack Grealish, who looks set to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer after falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola.
Newcastle United do not necessarily need another left-winger or attacking midfielder, but Grealish gives Howe more strength in depth and another player who has vast experience playing at the highest level.
Reports have shared that Newcastle are interested in Grealish on loan, but the 29-year-old may prefer a permanent move away from the club he signed for in 2021.
With Grealish yet to decide his future, Richard Keys has now shared what he has been told about him and where he could end up this summer.

This season was anything but positive for Grealish, who lost his place in the starting XI and only scored three goals in all competitions.
However, there is still a lot of interest in his signature this summer, as many clubs will be well aware of the quality he can provide.
While Newcastle are believed to be one club looking at Grealish, Keys has shared that he would have signed for Manchester United if they won the Europa League, and also named Everton as a shock party interested in a move.
Speaking on beIN Sports about Grealish, Keys said: “I had a whisper on Grealish. It might be affected by the fact Manchester United have lost the Europa League final, but I was told that had United won it and therefore qualified for the Champions League he would be signing for them in the summer.
“I thought it would be great for both parties. It depends on what other offers Jack’s got. He’s gone.
“For me, Manchester United would be a very good venue, but it would be great for both parties. I think he would be loved (at Everton), Everton love a 10. United or Everton.”
With a reported transfer budget now in the region of £250m, Newcastle have five big names they want to sign this summer. Although Grealish is not one of their top targets, he could still be of use to Howe for Newcastle’s upcoming Champions League campaign.

Which players Newcastle United want to sign this summer
After three transfer windows with no arrivals for the first team, Newcastle are now in a position where they can let Paul Mitchell work his magic and bring some big names to Tyneside to help the club push on next season.
Newcastle missed out on Matheus Cunha to Man United, but they could still beat them to Bryan Mbeumo if they act fast.

The Magpies have also included Bournemouth duo Antoine Semenyo and Illia Zabarnyi on their top targets list this summer. Newcastle were seriously interested in Dean Huijsen but lost the race to sign him to Real Madrid earlier in May.
Additionally, Newcastle are still interested in Liam Delap despite reports saying he could sign for the likes of Chelsea and Man United over the Magpies.
