Newcastle United find themselves in a position where they can now beat European giants to major signings this summer.
St James’ Park has suddenly become an extremely attractive proposition for new signings with a very bright future ahead for the Magpies.
Newcastle winning the Carabao Cup has proven that Eddie Howe’s side are winners, and chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan promised more trophies to fans.
On top of that, Newcastle have returned to Europe and are in contention to qualify for the Champions League. If Newcastle can finish in the top five and qualify, it will help Paul Mitchell land some marquee signings this summer.

Newcastle United interested in signing Luis Henrique
Mitchell is targeting three new signings in the summer with Newcastle finally getting to grips with their PSR struggles.
The top priorities will be signing a new right-sided centre-back and winger – two positions that have been overlooked since PIF took charge.
According to le10sport, Newcastle are one of a handful of teams interested in signing Marseille winger Luis Henrique.
The 23-year-old winger has been impressing in France this season with nine goals and seven assists in 30 appearances.
Despite starting the season on the left wing, Henrique has moved over to the right and stepped up to a new level for Marseille, who are enjoying a strong season in second place in Ligue 1.
Newcastle can beat Inter Milan to £30m Luis Henrique deal
Alongside Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are the other teams showing an interest in Henrique.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Henrique has reportedly said “yes” to joining Inter Milan, but the Italian giants are not willing to pay more than £21m.
However, Marseille value Henrique at £30m (35m Euros) so the door is open for Newcastle to jump ahead in the race to sign the Brazilian if they top Inter’s offer.

Henrique has a contract with Marseille until 2028, so the French club are not under any pressure to accept an offer that doesn’t match their value.
However, Newcastle have several winger targets of their own and Henrique does not appear to be a top choice for Mitchell.
