Juventus have now named their price for their exciting young talent who Newcastle United have now been interested in for months.
Newcastle first started tracking Matias Soule in 2023 when he was impressing for Frosinone in the opening months of the season, and now after hitting double figures the Magpies remain very keen on him.
A new report from Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that Juventus are looking for around at least £26m as a starting point for the winger, though it’s expected to go up to £30m with add-ons.
Newcastle learn the price ‘exciting’ talent will cost them
It was reported only a couple of days ago that Newcastle had sent scouts over to Italy to watch Soule play for Frosinone where he is currently out on loan and developing into an ‘exciting‘ player in a new environment.
It looks to have been a successful trip as the attacker netted his 10th league goal of the season in a 3-2 defeat to AC Milan and once again proved why he’ll be in demand this summer.
That report also added that Crystal Palace are another club who will be rivalling Newcastle for his signature, so it may come down to who can offer the most money to Juventus.
Now that they know the Italian giants are looking for around £26m for the 20-year-old, Newcastle will be able to prepare their summer targets a little better, and whether or not they are willing to commit that much of the budget on a young player like Soule.

Newcastle could capitalise on Juventus’ financial troubles
Like Barcelona in Spain, Juventus are currently dealing with huge financial problems having been dealt a points deduction last season which ultimately cost them European football.
In the last few months it has emerged that the Old Lady are looking to offload some of their younger players for a decent fee in order to raise the funds they need for the first team.
Soule is one of those who has been mentioned and Newcastle have the perfect opportunity to capitalise on Juventus’ troubles when they otherwise could be doubling the fee for the young winger.
The Argentinian will want to be playing regularly somewhere next season and with Juventus not looking to keep hold of him Newcastle could definitely do with another right-sided attacker with Miguel Almiron potentially on the way out.
