Newcastle United fans have been reacting to a report’s claim that Isaac Hayden could be used as part of a deal to sign Watford star Will Hughes.
It was reported yesterday that Newcastle were keen on the Englishman.
But the Magpies are working on a tight budget.

Hughes will supposedly cost around £12 million, and it has been suggested Steve Bruce may need to offer a player to get a deal done.
The newly-promoted Hornets are keen on Hayden, and could take him as part of a swap deal.
Hayden has been with Newcastle since 2016 after joining from Arsenal, and has racked up 157 appearances for the club.

He has his limitations technically, but Hayden is a very popular figure with the fans.
The 26-year-old has shown himself to be an industrious grafter, who always plays for the badge.
It has previously been reported that Hayden wanted out of Newcastle for family reasons.
But there hasn’t been anything on that situation in recent times.

On social media, fans have been reacting to the claim.
It seems many would be opposed to seeing Hughes come in if it meant would Hayden depart:
