There have been plenty of rumours surrounding Newcastle Untied and Johan Bakayoko, and it just got even more interesting.
Newcastle United are looking to sign three players in the summer transfer window, as Eddie Howe has requested a striker, a winger and a goalkeeper.
It’s clear that improvements are required at St James’ Park, with Nick Pope out injured and Martin Dubravka seemingly heading for a January exit.
That’s not all though, as Miguel Almiron could also be on his way out next month, as a move to the MLS has been mooted with a price tag of £8 million.
Interestingly, a potential incoming just got a little more likely as PSV have made a move of their own ahead of the January transfer window.

Newcastle already have their eyes on Johan Bakayoko ahead of January, but his price tag could be an issue as the Magpies have their own PSR issues.
However, a potential sale with Almiron and Dubravka could raise some much needed funds to help sort out a deal for the winger.
Now, it appears as if PSV could potentially be putting some plans in place ahead of January, as a right winger is set to rock up in Holland.
According to Give Me Sport, PSV are nearing a deal to sign Bosnia and Herzegovina int’l winger Esmir Bajraktarevic from New England Revolution.
What could Bakayoko bring to Newcastle?
If Newcastle fans liked having Allan Saint-Maximin at St James’ Park then they’re going to love Bakayoko.
Pace and power are the two biggest aspects of his game, as well as the trickery and dribbling ability on the ball which has caused defenders all sorts of problems.
He’s shown he can contribute too, scoring six and assisting three this season.
It’s perhaps not the most prolific of returns for Bakayoko, but then again, no one at Newcastle United has really set the world alight this season.
