Eddie Howe is going to to rotate his Newcastle United team against Manchester United on Wednesday night, and that should be good news for Lewis Hall.
The 19-year-old has barely featured for the Magpies since arriving on loan from Chelsea this summer. Lewis Hall‘s deal runs until the end of the season, before he joins Newcastle on a permanent deal for £28million.
Newcastle have decided to invest a lot of money in the teenager, but he is yet to have much of an impact. He made his debut during the 8-0 win over Sheffield United when the game was already won, then his first start came days later in the Carabao Cup victory over Manchester City.
That was a difficult night for Hall. He played multiple positions during what was a gruelling first half for Newcastle, before being replaced by Anthony Gordon.
But Eddie Howe was happy with what he saw from the teenager, and will hopefully give him another start on Wednesday night when the Magpies take on Manchester United.
It will be another chance for Hall to prove his worth, and show why Newcastle believe he has so much potential.

Ahead of the game against Manchester United, Howe has spoke to the media. He was asked about Lewis Hall, and spoke glowingly about the boyhood Toon fan.
“He’s a talented player,” he said.
“He can play various positions for us, which in our current position we are going to need. Lewis has been training well.
“He’s been adapting to quite a big change in his life so for such a young player to move from London and settle in here, I think he’s done it well. The best of him is yet to come, without a doubt.
“When you get an opportunity you have to take it, and Lewis has done that. His performance against Manchester City was very good, he’s a player we really like.”
Unclear where he will play for Newcastle against Man United
Howe has highlighted Hall’s versatility, and we should see it utilised on Wednesday night.
Hall has been brought in to play left-back, but it would be a surprise to see him used in that role at Old Trafford.
The left-back position will likely go to Matt Targett, meaning Hall will either play as part of the midfield three or on the left wing. In our predicted lineup, we have got him in attack.
It is not ideal for Hall as he continues finding his feet at Newcastle, but his versatility is much appreciated by Howe at a time when his squad is massively stretched.
He will be keen for his fringe players to come in and impress against Manchester United, while Hall will be eager to remind the manager that he can be trusted to play in the Premier League in the coming weeks.
