Ciaran Clark is representing Trebol FC while Ndiweni plays for FC Rules the World.

Ndiweni scored in the opening game as his side lost to Maya Jama and Alisha Lehmann’s MVPs United and celebrated by paying tribute to Alexander Isak.

When did Michael Ndiweni leave Newcastle United?

Ndiweni is a born Geordie and was a Newcastle fan growing up, joining the club when he was still just a child.

He rose through the ranks to make his senior debut for the club, coming off the bench in a 4-1 win over Chelsea in November 2023.

However, after spending the first few months of 2024 on loan at Scottish side Annan Athletic, he was released by the club in the summer of 2024.

Upon announcing his departure, he wrote on TikTok: “After eight years, it’s finally time to say goodbye. I would like to thank everyone involved at Newcastle United who made my time there special.

“Also, I would like to massively thank all the fans for their amazing support!”

After leaving St. James’ Park, Ndiweni has spent time at local non-league clubs Ashington AFC and Newcastle Blue Star before getting his opportunity in the Baller League.
