On Wednesday night, Wor Flags will look to produce their biggest display yet as Newcastle United face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Now St James’ Park is set to be the stage, which is where Newcastle expect to have most of their joy in the Champions League. An incredible atmosphere is anticipated, and there is hope that it can give Eddie Howe’s players the edge against PSG.

According to iNews, Wednesday night’s display is going to be Wor Flags’ biggest yet.
They state that a huge new surfer flag is going to be unveiled, with three of the St James’ Park stands to be completely covered before kickoff. Elsewhere, the other flags will be situated in the remaining stand.
You would imagine that the three stands that will be totally covered will be the Leazes, the East Stand and the Gallowgate, then the smaller flags will be used up and down the Milburn, all the way up to Level Seven.
The report adds that it has taken the group 400 hours to bring their vision to life, and that work inside the stadium started on Sunday morning, just hours after Newcastle beat Burnley in the Premier League.
The hard work of Wor Flags should never be understated, and they play a key role in setting the tone inside St James’ Park. What they do is truly remarkable, and fans should be eternally grateful for their effort.
They have worked tirelessly for this first Champions League game, and will no doubt try and outdo themselves for the remaining fixtures against Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.
But Wednesday night will be their first spectacle on the European stage, on a night that Newcastle fans will likely never forget.
