Eddie Howe has completed his first training session as Newcastle United manager.
The 43-year-old has wasted no time putting the players through their paces after being announced as the new manager on Monday.
Howe arrived at the training ground at 6.45am this morning with his backroom staff. This delighted Toon fans, who are excited to see what the future holds under the new regime.

The club released the first official pictures of Howe at Newcastle on Tuesday afternoon, and followed it up wit a wonderful clip of the gaffer in action.
The video shows Howe giving his new players plenty of instructions, as he aims to move the team away from the Premier League relegation zone.
‘A lot of people are just stood still’
One of the most telling messages from Howe was about player movement.
In the club’s official video, Howe can be heard saying: “A lot of people are just stood still. Stood still is no good, you’ve got to create the space.”
Whether this was just in relation to the training session or a wider problem, player movement has often been an issue for Newcastle.

We struggle as an attacking unit, often relying on the individual brilliance of Allan Saint-Maximin or the finishing ability of Callum Wilson. We don’t move as a coherent side.
From the clip released by the club, a lot of the session seems to have been dedicated to creating space.
It’s great to get an insight into how the new manager operates on the training ground, after so many complaints about the previous boss’ efforts.
Here’s hoping Howe’s arrival can have an immediate impact when Newcastle face Brentford on November 20th.
