In a GQ Magazine interview with Bruno, they spoke to a club’s spokesperson about which player sells the most shirts at Newcastle right now.

They were told: “‘Bruno G. 39’ shirts have been the club’s biggest seller for each of the past three seasons.”

Bruno joined Newcastle in January 2022. Since the moment he signed on the dotted line, he has been a fan favourite.

He was the first overseas superstar to join the Toon project, and has been a transformative figure on the pitch. He is someone who fans have gravitated to, much to the delight of the Brazilian.

Luckily for those Toon fans with ‘Bruno G. 39′ on their shirt, he is going to be staying at St James’ Park for a lot longer.

That is because the 25-year-old is due to sign a new contract to extend his stay on Tyneside until 2028. Bruno is going to become the club’s best paid player ever, and it feels like an announcement is imminent.
