The Newcastle United home kit for next season has potentially been leaked online.
The Magpies are preparing for their second season back with Adidas, after reuniting with the German brand in 2024.
Newcastle’s Adidas kits have been glorious so far, and they have been part of a special season. Newcastle United won the Carabao Cup wearing Adidas, while they could also book a place in next season’s Champions League.
The famous black and white stripes could be in Europe’s elite competition for the 2025/26 campaign, which means more eyes on Newcastle United and their kits.

Leaked Newcastle United described as ‘horrible’ by fans
However, the Magpies’ potential home shirt for next season is not massively appealing to supporters.
An image of the potential Newcastle United home shirt has been shared on X by journalist Joel Bland, who has suggested that it will be released at the end of May.
The leak has been met with disappointment from fans, who have expressed their displeasure on social media.
“I’ll be saving my money,” wrote one fan.
A second Toon supporter added: “If true, that is really bad….really really bad. Worse than our Castore kits bad.”
Another Newcastle fan commented: “Horrible. Won’t be buying that one.”
This supporter explained his disappointment, writing: “Awful kit. The blue is too light, the stripes don’t look nice and the howay the lads ruins the back.”
The leaked shirt has been compared to an old Juventus top, with this supporter adding: “Looks so cheap, no effort in it. same shirt as Juve a few years ago. with Adidas and Toon badge slapped on it.”
Finally, a sixth Newcastle United fan wrote: “Very Juventus. Not for me.”
How much Newcastle United’s Adidas deal is worth
Newcastle United received a massive revenue boost when they swapped Castore for Adidas.
Their previous deal with Castore was only worth £5million-a-year.
In contrast, it was previously reported by the i Paper that Newcastle United are now making £30million-a-year from this Adidas agreement.
That is still a lot less than what some of the Magpies’ Premier League rivals make. In comparison, Liverpool’s Adidas deal will be worth £60million-a-year, which is double what Newcastle are getting.
Newcastle’s partnership with Adidas has proven to be very successful so far. The kits for the current season were all incredibly well received, as were the other bits of memorabilia and merchandise that Adidas released.
However, the home kit they have planned for Newcastle United next season is not as good as the current one.
Despite the initial disappointment at the leak, there will certainly be plenty of Newcastle United fans rushing to purchase it when it is officially released.
