Scotland look set to qualify for Euro 2024 and a number of Newcastle United players could be involved.
The Tartan Army have already had Elliot Anderson in their squad before he pulled out amid reports he could switch allegiance to England, while Harvey Barnes has been tipped to go the other way despite having a cap for the Three Lions.
With Steve Clarke’s side all-but confirmed as qualified for the tournament in Germany next summer, playing for them offers a genuine chance of appearing at a major finals, with the Scots having gone to Euro 2020 too.

Now, it seems another Newcastle player could be on their radar.
Scotland keen on Tino Livramento
Indeed, according to The Chronicle, Scotland are interested in Tino Livramento.
The 20-year-old is eligible to represent them as his mother is Scottish but could also play for both England and Portugal.
Still, the defender has only ever represented England at youth level and is currently in the Three Lions’ U21 squad for their upcoming games against Serbia and Ukraine.

Livramento has a great chance with England
While dual nationality is a deeply personal subject to broach, there is a great chance for Livramento with England in the long-term.
Hailed as “incredible” by teammate Alexander Isak for his performance against Manchester City, there is a real feeling of hope as to his potential.
Though the right-back options for England are currently impressive in the form of Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker, both are over 30 and cannot go on forever. Trent Alexander-Arnold, meanwhile, has been used in central midfield by Gareth Southgate and Reece James has consistently struggled with injury.
There’s a space opening up for Livramento, should he want it. Having always represented England at youth level, there’s little to suggest he doesn’t.
