According to the Independent, Newcastle still do not have a date for their upcoming arbitration hearing.
It has been claimed that the hearing is set to take place this month, as Mike Ashley looks to force through a deal to sell the club.
Arbitration is set to take place to assess the issue of separation between the Public Investment Fund and the Saudi state.
It was argued by the Premier League that they are not separate entities, meaning Mohamed Bin Salman should be named as a director and thus have to pass the Premier League’s test.

However, the consortium argued otherwise.
Now Mike Ashley is involved in two legal battles against the Premier League, with the club also making an anti-competition claim.
But when will arbitration actually take place?
Still no date for the Newcastle arbitration hearing
The Independent state that, according to sources close to the buyers, Newcastle are yet to actually receive a date for the beginning of arbitration.
This is extremely worrying.

How can the hearing have been expected to start in July without an actual date being set?
Pressure is mounting on the Premier League, but we remain no closer to a conclusion.
The club have released a statement asking the Premier League to allow arbitration to be held in public.
Meanwhile, Amanda Staveley has sent a letter to MP Tracey Crouch, calling for transparency and immediate intervention from the government.

Newcastle are turning the screw against the Premier League. Fan fury is heating up once again.
But with no date reportedly set for arbitration, who knows when we will actually see real movement.
The Newcastle United takeover saga refuses to end.
