Hamza Choudhury is reportedly open to leaving Leicester this summer and joining Newcastle United on loan.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim Steve Bruce wants the club to press ahead with a deal for the 23-year-old.
Choudhury has been heavily linked with Newcastle throughout Bruce’s tenure, and nearly joined the club on loan back in January.
Now he’s a target once again, as the Magpies look to add to their summer transfer business. So far, Joe Willock is Newcastle’s only signing.

The Daily Mail state that Choudhury is interested in joining Newcastle so that he can play more first-team football.
While Leicester have been fantastic over the past couple of years, Choudhury has barely featured.

If Newcastle do want to sign Choudhury, it appears as though we will need to move some players on first.
The Daily Mail claim that the Magpies will listen to offers for Fabian Schar, Ciaran Clark, Sean Longstaff and Jeff Hendrick.
Newcastle have already got rid of multiple players this summer, with Florian Lejeune and Yoshinori Muto leaving the club. Meanwhile, we released Christian Atsu, Henri Saivet and Andy Carroll.
While Newcastle have moved on a lot of fringe players, their squad is still very full.
