Newcastle United look set to be without Alexander Isak for the trip to Everton on Saturday night.
Unless Newcastle United get drawn away to Everton in the FA Cup, this will be the Magpies’ final ever visit to Goodison Park, and they will arrive without their star striker.
Eddie Howe has said Alexander Isak is a doubt to face Everton, with the 25-year-old suffering from a broken toe. It now looks certain that he will miss out, with Isak not included in the Sweden squad for the upcoming international break.

Nick Pope starts for Newcastle United against Everton
Nick Pope is an injury doubt heading into the game against Everton.
He did not play in the 1-0 win over Wimbledon on Tuesday night, with Eddie Howe stating that Pope was suffering from a swollen knee.
However, he was hopeful that the 32-year-old would be fit to face the Toffees, and we are predicting that Pope will return to the side.
The same should go for Kieran Trippier, who also missed the midweek Carabao Cup contest.
While Lloyd Kelly has proven he is better at centre-back, it will likely be Fabian Schar and Dan Burn at the heart of defence, with Lewis Hall completing the back four.
Sandro Tonali returns after midweek rest
Sandro Tonali is another player who did not appear against Wimbledon on Tuesday night. He was an unused substitute, with Newcastle’s other midfielders getting the job done.
But the fact he was on the bench proves he is fit, after Tonali was forced off against Manchester City with cramp.
The 24-year-old will be good to go this weekend, and should reclaim his position in the Newcastle United engine room alongside Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.
Anthony Gordon leads the line on his latest Goodison Park return
With Isak set to be absent, it will once again be Anthony Gordon up front for Newcastle.
Gordon did very well as a striker against Manchester City, and this game will hold added importance. The 23-year-old is returning to Goodison Park, having left Everton to join Newcastle in January 2023.
He will be eager to impress on Saturday night, with Everton fans mocking Gordon last season as they beat Newcastle 3-0 on Merseyside.
Newcastle will hope for a much better result and performance, with Gordon likely to be joined in attack by Harvey Barnes and Jacob Murphy. The latter should take Miguel Almiron’s place on the right wing, with the £21million man not doing enough in the cup to justify a run in the starting XI.
