Newcastle United’s Carabao Cup heroes are finally back in Premier League action on Wednesday night.
It will have been more than two weeks since Newcastle United played at Wembley, and what a two weeks it has been.
The party has never stopped, but now it is back to business for Eddie Howe and his players. They face Brentford at St James’ Park, as the Magpies turn their attention back towards Champions League qualification.
The atmosphere should be incredible, and this is Geordie Boot Boys’ predicted Newcastle starting XI to face Brentford.

No changes at the back for Newcastle United
With Lewis Hall and Sven Botman still injured, it seems certain that Eddie Howe will name an unchanged defence against Brentford.
That means Fabian Schar and Dan Burn at centre-back, while Kieran Trippier and Tino Livramento will be at full-back.
Not only will Burn be playing as a Carabao Cup winner, he will also be playing as an England international after making his Three Lions debut for Thomas Tuchel.
Joelinton nearing suspension
Newcastle United do have one concern heading into Wednesday night’s game, and that is Joelinton’s looming suspension.
The 28-year-old has picked up nine Premier League yellow cards this season. A 10th in any of Newcastle’s next four games will result in a two-match ban.
That is a worry, but Joelinton’s game will not change, and he should be in midfield alongside Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali.
Anthony Gordon serves the final game of his ban
For the third consecutive game, Newcastle United will be without Anthony Gordon.
He is set to serve the final game of his suspension, which could result in Eddie Howe naming an unchanged front three.
That means another opportunity for Harvey Barnes, who has performed very well in the absence of Gordon.
The £39million man will be determined to shine against Brentford, as his position in the starting XI will be under threat once Gordon is available again.
Predicted XI vs Brentford: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Barnes.
