Anthony Gordon is a fan favourite at Newcastle United, and it also looks like he is very popular in the Toon dressing room.
He has only been with the club for around six months, but Gordon has been given plenty of nicknames by his Newcastle teammates.
We have seen Jacob Murphy liken him to a Harry Potter character by calling him ‘Starboy Malfoy’, while Bruno Guimaraes branded him ‘Gordito’. That name was not quite as funny, until you realised it meant ‘chubby’ in Portuguese!
Gordon is clearly well-liked, and now Nick Pope has given the 22-year-old another nickname during training this week.

The club have released a video on their official YouTube channel of the players training in preparation for Saturday’s game against Aston Villa at St James’ Park.

Before the session begins, Gordon and Matt Ritchie can be seen playing teqball – which is basically like football-tennis over a table.
Gordon wins the point, much to the delight of Toon goalkeeper Pope, who shouts: “The blonde bombshell!”
The name clearly amused Gordon, who repeats it whilst giggling to himself.
Big season for the blonde bombshell
While calling Gordon a ‘blonde bombshell’ makes him sound like someone from Love Island, the winger will really hope to turn heads with his performances this season.

The £45million man has had an excellent pre-season, and looks really sharp heading into the first game against Aston Villa. He looks certain to start, likely on the left of Eddie Howe’s front three.
It is a big season for Gordon, who struggled at times following his arrival on Tyneside.
But he looks fitter and more suited to Howe’s style of play, and appears to be ready to make a big impression with the number 10 shirt on his back.
If all goes to plan, this could be the best season of the blonde bombshell’s career so far.
