Newcastle United fans flocked to social media to talk about Southampton star Tyler Dibling.
There has been a lot of talk about Newcastle United’s transfer budget for 2025 with the club still shackled by Profit and Sustainability Rules.
But one thing that is clear is that Newcastle want to sign a right winger as soon as possible to strengthen Eddie Howe’s side.
It was an area Newcastle were looking to improve on in the summer with a deadline day £50m offer for Anthony Elanga was rejected. A new winger remains at the top of Paul Mitchell’s shopping list.
Newcastle have been linked with Tyler Dibling after his superb start to the season. The Magpies have a long-term interest in the 18-year-old star.
Dibling was in action for Southampton on Sunday afternoon and Newcastle fans were keeping a keen eye on his display.

Southampton came close to springing a big surprise in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon after taking the lead against league leaders Liverpool at St Mary’s Stadium.
They eventually lost 3-2 after a Mohamed Salah-inspired comeback from the visitors, but one standout for the hosts was Dibling on the right flank.
Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson endured a tough afternoon up against Dibling, who repeatedly took on the Scottish international and was a dangerous outlet for his side.
The highlight of his match was when Dibling won a penalty late into the first half after charging forward at Robertson, who tripped him up at the very edge of the 18-yard box.
Dibling, who has been compared to Jack Grealish, ended the match with 35 touches and 16 completed passes – including one key pass.

Despite ending up on the losing side, Newcastle fans were amazed by Dibling’s performance for Liverpool.
They flocked to social media to let club chiefs know that they would love to see Dibling sign in 2025.
One supporter wrote: “Tyler Dibling. #NUFC‘s RW for the next decade. Ticks all the Eddie Howe boxes. Welcome aboard.”
Another posted: “Wouldn’t mind Tyler Dibling at the Toon next season when Southampton eventually get relegated. Looks like he’s got some talent that Eddie can definitely work with.”
A third fan wrote: “Newcastle need to sign Dibling in January. Throw 25-30m. This guy is absolutely crack.”
Fans continued to urge Newcastle to sign the exciting winger.
“Aye Tyler Dibling is absolutely class. Get him signed @NUFC” wrote one fan.
Finally, one supporter added: “I’m sold on dibling already. Get him in the summer once they go down #NUFC”
