Newcastle United could be set to go through a big period of change in the coming months and years.

While Newcastle United face a huge game against Everton in the Premier League on Sunday that determines their immediate future in terms of the Champions League, broader change is afoot.

Newcastle United have released their new home kit ahead of the 2025-26 season. Hopefully, that will include them wearing it in Europe’s elite club competition.

Alexander Isak was pictured wearing Newcastle’s new kit, which is perhaps a sign that he will indeed stay next season.

The design features the club’s iconic crest, too. However, it could be the final time supporters see it on a home shirt, with a new Newcastle badge on the way.

Newcastle plan to change their club crest design by the start of the 2026/27 season, so there’s a strong chance it will be the last time.

Fans lucky enough to be in St James’ Park will be able to see the new shirt in all its glory on Sunday.

Will Newcastle United wear their new kit against Everton?

The club have confirmed Newcastle will wear their new kit against Everton on Sunday.

Eddie Howe’s side simply must win if they are to guarantee a place in next season’s Champions League.

Newcastle United vs Everton isn’t on TV, so only the supporters in the ground will be able to see the new shirt live during the game at St James’.

Newcastle supporters on social media have reacted positively to the new kit, so hopefully that’s a good omen to come for the meeting with the Toffees.

It will be available to buy from 9am BST on Thursday 29 May, 2025.

When will Newcastle United move to a new stadium?

The biggest change of all could be coming, too.

Newcastle plan to build a new stadium, although there has yet to have been any official confirmation just yet.

Still, there has been a huge amount of media speculation ahead of what will be a historic change for the club.

It has previously been claimed that Newcastle want to build a new stadium by 2030

That sadly means the time could be ticking on St James’, which is an emotional statement to write.

Newcastle are changing. Sometimes that’s for the better, though a stadium move would surely split opinion amongst supporters.
