Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka often sits back and admires his teammates.
With the 36-year-old currently the Magpies’ first choice goalkeeper, he has an incredible view of Newcastle United’s outfield superstars.
Martin Dubravka was recently part of a nine-game winning run, and there were a couple of games where the Slovakia international did not have much to do. Instead, he was able to admire the genius of players like Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali, Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon.
The Magpies really do have some top level talent right now, which is why they are in the Carabao Cup final, still in the FA Cup and challenging for a place in the Champions League.
Martin Dubravka hails ‘complete’ Alexander Isak
Watching this Newcastle United team is a real privilege. But the cream of the crop right now is Alexander Isak.
That is the view of Dubravka, who has told Newcastle United’s official website that the 25-year-old is the ‘complete player’.
“I’m so happy the players show their ability,” he said.
“Obviously the top topic is Alex now, because he is a complete player for me.
“He is an attractive player to watch. Every team wishes to have a player like him in the squad.
“Sometimes I am a fan. Sometimes I just enjoy to watch them.”

Newcastle United need more talent like Isak to reach the next level
Dubravka is completely right about Isak. He is an absolute joy to watch, and the type of player that every club in the world wishes they had. Arsenal fans certainly wish he was theirs, while there is also talk of interest from Barcelona and Liverpool.
Thankfully, he belongs to Newcastle United. And that is hopefully where he will remain, with Newcastle keen to extend Isak’s contract.
Toon officials have no plans to lose players of Isak’s calibre. Instead, they want more players like him.
They will hopefully arrive in the summer, with Newcastle boosting their PSR position during the January transfer window.
While Newcastle will not have a limitless transfer budget, there will be funds available to enhance Eddie Howe’s squad.
Newcastle want to make three signings, with Paul Mitchell set to prioritise a centre-back, right winger and striker.
